Cosmetic Medicine & Skin Treatments

What can I expect before my treatment?

Every treatment begins with a personalised consultation. We’ll discuss your goals, medical history, and skin health to tailor a treatment plan that’s both safe and effective. Please arrive with clean skin and avoid wearing makeup if possible.

What happens during the treatment?

Treatments are performed by Genieve using advanced techniques and medical-grade products. Depending on the service, sessions typically take 30–60 minutes. You’ll be kept informed and comfortable throughout.

What should I expect after the treatment?

Mild redness, swelling, or bruising may occur, depending on the treatment. Aftercare instructions will be provided to support healing and enhance results. Final outcomes can develop gradually over days or weeks.

Who performs the treatments?

All treatments are exclusively performed by Genieve Chan, an experienced Cosmetic Nurse and Clinical Trainer. You’ll receive consistent, expert care in every session.

Is there a minimum age for treatment?

Yes — you must be 18 years or older to receive cosmetic medicine treatment. ID may be requested at your appointment.

Can I be treated if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Some treatments are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please let us know during your consultation so we can tailor advice and care accordingly.

Is a consultation required?

Yes — a full consultation is required prior to all cosmetic medicine and advanced skin treatments. This ensures your safety, suitability, and that you feel informed and confident in your choices.

Vaccinations and Immunisations

To minimise the risk of complications or side effects, we generally recommend allowing a two-week interval before or after any cosmetic medicine treatment when scheduling vaccinations or immunisations. If you are unsure about the timing of your appointments, please don’t hesitate to contact the clinic for personalised advice.

Online Booking & Clinic Policies

How do I book an appointment?

You can easily book through our [Online Booking System – insert link]. Simply select your service, date, and time.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This will be applied to your treatment cost on the day.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Changes made within 48 hours — or missed appointments — will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

How do I change or cancel my booking?

All changes must be made by contacting the clinic directly via phone or text. Changes cannot be made through the online system after the appointment is confirmed.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept EFTPOS, Visa, and Mastercard (with a 0.66% surcharge) as well as American Express (1.6% surcharge). To avoid card surcharges, we also offer cash and bank transfer option.

Do you offer payment plans or packages?

Currently, we do not offer formal payment plans, but package options for certain skin treatments may be available. Please enquire during your consultation.

How much does treatment cost?

In accordance with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) guidelines for cosmetic medicine, we are unable to disclose pricing for certain treatments online. For further information regarding costs, we encourage you to contact the clinic directly. This allows Genieve to perform a thorough consultation and clinical assessment to determine whether the treatment is appropriate and tailored to your individual needs.
